What is a lap blanket? A lap blanket or “lapghan” is made to fit over a wheelchair or someone in a sitting position. I used them at work with it over my lap and under my desk so I could stay warm and no one knew I have a lap blankie. It's also a nice "easy on and easy off" blanket for when you are binge watching a series on Netflix, and you have to get off the couch to let the dog out, let the dog in....you get the idea.
